Surah Mulk
Surah Al Mulk (The Sovereignty) is the 67th Surah of the Holy Quran and exists in the 29th Parah. This Surah has 30 verses, 363 words, and 1332 letters, this surah was revealed in the city of Makkah so-called “Makki” Surah.
SURAH MULK BENEFITS BEFORE SLEEPING
The Surah Mulk not only offers protection in both this life and the hereafter, but it also provides protection during the period in between. In a hadith, it has been mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) (peace be upon him) advised the recitation of Surah Mulk every night before retiring to bed. By doing so, it is believed that one will be safeguarded from the torment of the grave.
Abdullah bin Mas‘ud narrates that whoever recites Surah al-Mulk every night, Allah will shield them from the punishment of the grave through the blessings of this Surah. According to another tradition, when an individual recites Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping, an angel descends to protect them as they are unable to protect themselves due to being in a state of sleep. blog
